3D Business Trip

In 2005 I took my old pop music act on a tour of the US and Canada with Heather Ciriza so that I could kill her. We traveled the entire way on Amtrak. Before buying the tickets I called Amtrak’s corporate headquarters, got a hold of a secretary, and said “…so I thought it would be in everyone’s best interest if Amtrak could give us all the tickets and then we could… like… really hype Amtrak at the shows.” In the end Amtrak declined my sponsorship proposal.

I bought all of Heather’s tickets and in exchange she helped me sell merchandise and video-tape the trip. I eventually combined some of that footage with the music videos that I projected during the shows and called it 3D Business Trip. It was screened only once at Artists’ Television Access in San Francisco. It was in 3D because I would pop up out of the audience and sing whenever the music videos came up.

There is one section missing from the movie here (between Raining Astronauts and Bubby Is One) to maintain some people’s privacy. If you would like a DVD of the entire movie with extra footage and the deep satisfaction of ownership, you can order a copy here through PayPal for $10 (free shipping, but it’s $2 for the handling).
