A Living Olympus is a forty-minute cinema-verite documentary, shot with three hand-held cameras in DVCPro HD, that follows the production of an elaborately staged performance by a large group of expert musicians. Rather than just witness a concert, the audience will be immersed in the process of realizing this extravagant low-budget feat.

The film was produced entirely by my circle of friends, some of San Francisco’s most talented unrecognized artists and technicians, for under $25,000. The intensity of the performance, the breathtaking art direction, and the dream-like editing will blow minds from skulls. I am still raising funds to pay off the debt I’ve accrued making this film and the funds I’ll need to finish. Donations of any amount are greatly needed and appreciated.

I am still in post-production, mixing the audio and editing the video myself. Please contact me with any inquiries, offers of donated materials or services, screening/festival ideas, any old thing.
