Remembering the early works of the late Jascha

Den of Hearts

I was hired by writer/director Justin Kelly’s production company Den of Hearts to provide sound design and source music for a few projects.

I did the sound design for this short film called Debris. Keep in mind as you watch it that I recreated all of the audio, none of what you hear was recorded at the time of filming. The music is by Hey Willpower, remixed by Tomo.

One of my favorite jobs ever was for Justin’s feature film Front, starring Daeg Faerch (young Mike Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween). I was asked to create smooth jazz that would appear to play over a thrift store’s PA system. Here is that scene followed by the original song itself, “Value Center.”
