In 2004 I completed the first album that I actually distributed in the world (the first I made was Butthawk, which I only gave to a few people). I produced it by myself in my various bedrooms over the course of a couple years and had about 1,200 CD’s manufactured. The illustrations in the album artwork were done by my mother and it was eventually distributed by Connecticut label Exotic Recordings.

I wanted to take the album on tour so in a week I made a video for each song I wanted to perform live. I projected these videos and sang along to the prerecorded music in interesting outfits. Me and my friend Heather took this act on tour all over the US and Canada, travelling entirely on Amtrak trains. I made a movie of this tour, which includes all the videos, called 3D Business Trip.

One of these videos, for the song Get With My Girlfriend, was featured on a VICE magazine multimedia DVD right between P. Diddy and Queens of the Stone Age.
