I am the Musical Director for the Stars and Garters Theater Company, established in March of 2006 to produce an original play by Jenny Jo Kristan and Ben Burke, the Curse of the Goddamn Ship. The show was so well-received, we produced a second run in October that same year and took it on a tour of the northwestern US in July 2008. Here’s some gorgeous video of that tour shot and edited by KRoB.

Our biggest production so far was an adaptation of a Brothers Grimm story called the Robber Bridegroom. I composed and directed the performance of a score which was played live during the show, written for wurlitzer, guitar, bass, percussion, and violin. I also played the part of Finn, a shit-smeared cannibalistic robber. A soundtrack album is in the works and will be available soon.
